TUGZip is a powerful award-winning freeware archiving utility for Windows that provides support for a wide range of compressed, encoded and disc-image files, as well as very powerful features; all through an easy to use application interface and Windows Explorer integration. It supports ZIP, 7-ZIP, A, ACE, ARC, ARJ, BH, BZ2, CAB, CPIO, DEB, GCA, GZ, IMP, JAR, LHA (LZH), LIB, RAR, RPM, SQX, TAR, TGZ, TBZ, TAZ, YZ1, and ZOO archives.

This top-notch archiving tool is impressive from start to finish, and power users will love its range of features and flexibility.
TUGZip starts off with several installation options that let users select one of three views, associate numerous compressed file types with the program, and add context menu shortcuts for easy archiving. Each is briefly but thoroughly explained, and the first two can be easily changed after installation. This easy customization made a good first impression, and that didn't change when we tested its archiving capabilities. The primary difference between the three views, Classic, Explorer, and Combined, is that the latter two show Explorer-style file trees in a multipaned window. The colorful toolbar is a constant in each view and consists of easy-to-understand tooltip-aided icons.
It doesn't take more than a few clicks to open, create, or add to archives. We were impressed by the ease of choosing compression level, adding a password, and setting other archive options. An archive repair tool, archive file type converter, and other tools are welcome extras. The Help file is comprehensive and goes above and beyond explaining the features to advising on how best to use the program.
TUGZip covers the major archive file types, and brings much more than to the table than just the ability to compress files. Novice users can use this program's basic archiving features with ease, but intermediate to advanced users will be able to reap the most benefits from this excellent freeware tool.
